“Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow.”
I’m Wayne Ford, a Los Angeles–based photographer specializing in interiors, architecture, hospitality, lifestyle, travel, and real estate.
Curiosity sits at the center of how I work. Whether I’m photographing a quiet interior, a thoughtfully designed home, or a building shaped by strong architectural intent, I’m interested in more than what something looks like. I’m drawn to what it feels like to be there.
Rather than simply documenting a space, I try to understand its atmosphere — how light moves through it, how materials respond to one another, how scale, proportion, texture, and restraint shape the experience of being inside it. My goal is to translate those qualities into photographs that feel both clear and alive.
I aim to create images that tell the story of a space while inviting the viewer into it: photographs with mood, clarity, and a strong sense of presence. Often, that comes through simple compositions and close attention to the relationship between surfaces, materials, objects, lines, natural light, and shadow.
I work primarily with interior designers, architects, builders, real estate agents, hoteliers, brands, companies, small business owners, and editors.
Available for projects throughout the United States and for select international commissions.
In addition to commercial work, Wayne maintains a fine art photography practice and print shop through Wayne Ford Studio.
